Our Vision

Mission-IGET serves with the intent of addressing these wants with a primary focus on providing intergenerational interaction opportunities and providing activities for all at no or minimal cost. Our mission is to support the community in ways that make our area a desirable place to live through all stages of life.

Vision-– A goal would be to earn the designation of “Intergenerational Community of Distinction” from the Generations United organization.

Collaboration relationships include the East Troy School District, Aging and Disability Resource Center of Walworth County, Southeastern Wisconsin Workforce Development, East Troy Family & Community Resource Center, Citizens Bank, East Troy Manor, and The Heritage Senior housing facility.

Financial sponsors – Kiwanis Club of Greater East Troy, East Troy Lions Club, Citizens Bank, Allan Integrated Control Systems and East Troy Walk of Terror.

Memberships-IGET is a member of Generations United, Wisconsin Association of Senior Centers, and the East Troy Chamber of Commerce

 

Delivering Value Through...

Community Center. A comfortable and safe space for people to gather, connect to their community resources and engage in programs and activities with residents of all ages that promote family, community, and  intergenerational interactions. The Center serves as a hub for local coordination of community and government services, career resources and counseling.

Remote Outreach Programs. Extend services and activities to those that are isolated, ill, non-mobile or unable to participate at the center for any reason.

Community Service. Collaborate with other fraternal, religious and business’s with “all community” service efforts.
