We are honored to receive the 2025 Good Neighbor of the Year Award from the East Troy Chamber of Commerce. Recipients of the award are chosen for how they enhance the East Troy area’s image as a community, exemplify community leadership, practice civic involvement, and participate in community volunteerism. Thank you to the Chamber for this recognition and to everyone whose support made it possible.
Thanks to expanded sponsorship from Citizens Bank and a new sponsorship from the Knights of Columbus, we can offer some new programs outlined below. We are grateful for their support in making these initiatives possible.
Special Events
The Very Good Theater Club is East Troy’s new youth theatre group, featuring 15-20-year-old students and graduates from the East Troy school district. They’re organizing a fundraiser to support their debut show, THE VAULT—a 50-minute Murder Mystery Comedy. Tickets cost $5.00 and can be purchased at the center or the East Troy House. Come out and cheer for these talented young performers!
New Program: This spring, we will launch a Fall Prevention Program in collaboration with the Wisconsin Institute of Healthy Aging, Falls Free Wisconsin, the Walworth County Aging and Disability Resource Center, and sponsored by the East Troy Knights of Columbus—more details to come.
The Virtual Travel Club will kick off this month. Several people are trained to operate the headsets to coach participants. If you haven’t experienced virtual reality, you must try it. It’s incredible! The headsets are the latest version on the market, donated by an anonymous donor. More to come.
