CRIER Newsletter November 2025

We are excited to announce that our organization has received the “2025 Good Neighbor Award” from the East Troy Chamber of Commerce. This award recognizes businesses or organizations that have made a meaningful impact on the East Troy community. It is a true honor, made possible only through your ideas, volunteer efforts, and donations. Thank you!

The new virtual reality travel club is generating a lot of excitement, with ideas for more VR activities. We’re seeking volunteers to teach others how to use headsets. Young adults familiar with gaming would make excellent partners for seniors, creating an engaging intergenerational experience. If you’re knowledgeable about VR headsets or interested in learning, please consider volunteering to help others explore virtual reality. The experience is truly unforgettable!

The Center welcomes The Very Good Theatre Club’s young adults for play production workshops. Keep an eye out for new studio theater performances coming in the following months.

Special Events

Community Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by the East Troy Manor, for all community members. Join us for a Turkey dinner with all the traditional fixings, prepared by excellent cooks. The Citizens Bank Good Life Club is hosting a Holiday Gift Wrap Party. If you find it difficult or just don’t like to wrap presents, bring your unwrapped gifts, and a team of helpful elves will wrap them up for you. Wrapping paper, tape, and bows provided—or use yours if you prefer. Clothing must be in a box, and no excessively large items. We do ask for registration, so we know how many elves and how much wrapping paper to have on hand. RSVP at 262-642-2266. Tuesday, November 25th – 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Bloom360 Learning Community’s Biz Path program offers learners practical business experience. Through this program, Learners have designed and produced note card packs of five, each card featuring a unique design that highlights character strengths such as creativity, humor, and perseverance. Use them to spread love, kindness, gratitude, or simply bring a smile to someone’s face with a special note. Packs are available at the community center for $10 each or three for $25.
